All CORE HL7 Software Products Now Upgraded to .NET 10

We are pleased to announce that all five of our commercial CORE HL7 software products have been upgraded from Microsoft .NET 8 to Microsoft .NET 10 (64-bit Desktop Runtime).
The upgraded products are:
- CORE HL7 TCP/IP Listener
- CORE HL7 TCP/IP Sender
- CORE HL7 C# Script Engine
- CORE HL7 MS SQL Schema Engine
- CORE HL7 MySQL Schema Engine
Why the Upgrade?
Microsoft .NET 8, previously the foundation for our software, reaches the end of its support lifecycle on November 10, 2026. After that date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for .NET 8.
By moving to .NET 10, we are ensuring our products remain on a modern, actively supported platform. As a Long Term Support (LTS) release, .NET 10 provides an extended support window through November 2028, along with ongoing security updates, reliability improvements, and performance enhancements.
The upgrade also positions our products to take advantage of continued improvements in Microsoft's development platform, helping us maintain secure, reliable, and efficient software for healthcare integration and HL7 data processing.
What Does This Mean for Existing Customers?
The upgrade is fully backward compatible. There are no changes required to your existing configurations or established workflows.
Simply download and install the latest version of your CORE HL7 software directly over your existing installation. Your existing setup can continue to be used without requiring a separate migration process.
If the Microsoft .NET 10 Desktop Runtime is not already installed on your computer, the installer will prompt you to install it.
